Mill Falls Resort Collection at the Lake in Meredith, N.H. is celebrating the completion of a years-long resort-wide makeover. The resort comprises four buildings — Chase House, Palmer Inn (formerly The Inn at Mill Falls), Bay Point, and Church Landing. The 21-room Chase House and 54-room Palmer Inn are freshly updated for the 2026 season. Previously, Bay Point and Church Landing were renovated in 2019 and 2020, respectively.

The centerpiece of the property is Mill Falls Marketplace, where guests can stroll through a landscaped collection of shops and eateries lakeside. The resort’s amenities, accessible to all guests, include six restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, a spa and salon, and an activity center.

“Through this project, we looked to bring the tranquility found all around Mill Falls inside through organic elements, tranquil palates and ample natural light,” said Barbara Beckwith, general manager, in a statement. “Mill Falls offers a truly restorative experience for our guests from overnight rooms to outdoor activities in nature and extending to our Cascade Spa and on-site yoga sessions.”

Designers updated the Chase House and Palmer Inn guest rooms and public spaces using a palate of deep indigo, crisp white, and charcoal grey, with warm wood furnishings for a “coastal modern style.”

Palmer Inn is a restored 19th-century linen mill. The building was named after Samuel Palmer, a teacher of surveying and navigation who laid out a lot of the land surrounding Lake Winnipesaukee, according to the resort’s website.

Rotating resort activities throughout the year include yoga, hiking, campfires, swimming, movies, snowshoeing, ice skating, and more. The resort’s activities center (open May through October), supplies gear for water excursions such as kayaking and paddleboarding.

Rates in the offseason start at $149 for Palmer Inn, and increase depending on the building and time of year. A resort fee of $38 plus tax per day is applied to each reservation.
