Osteria Nino in Burlington closes after 10 years in business

The reason for the closure was “to make way for new ownership and a revitalized concept.”

Osteria Nino, an Italian restaurant that served the Burlington community for a decade, has shuttered, according to an announcement on the restaurant’s website. 

The pop-up message on the restaurant’s website said the closure was to “make way for new ownership and a revitalized concept,” but didn’t go into further detail. 

“It has been our pleasure to serve this community for the past 10 years,” the message read. “We are deeply grateful for every team member, neighbor, guest, and vendor who helped build and sustain Nino’s. This journey has been full of celebration, connection, and great memories.”

Opened by the Lyons Group (the restaurant group behind Bar Enza, Loretta’s Last Call, and many other restaurant and entertainment venues around Greater Boston) in 2015, the restaurant near the Burlington Mall was known for its menu of pastas, traditional entrees like chicken parm, wood-fired pizzas, and seafood.
