A Green Line car derailed at Park Street station, causing service suspension between Park Street and Government Center, MBTA says.
Green Line service between two downtown stations was halted Sunday after a Green Line train car derailed at Park Street station, the MBTA said.
The MBTA suspended Green Line service between Park Street and Government Center as workers tried to rerail the trolley car, said the MBTA.
The MBTA announced the suspension on X at 2:46 p.m. and posted that the train was rerailed at 6:43 p.m.
Service was still suspended between the two stations Sunday night as MBTA workers investigated the area and did repairs to the platform at Park Street, the agency said at 9:16 p.m.
The MBTA encouraged riders to use the Orange Line while service is down.
