Airlines are stepping up service between New England and the Bay Area in February after the New England Patriots secured a spot in Super Bowl LX on Sunday night.

The Patriots will play the Seattle Seahawks on Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

JetBlue, American Airlines, and United Airlines are all adding flights between New England and San José Mineta International Airport, which is about 5 miles from the stadium, and San Francisco International Airport, which is about 30 miles from the stadium.

JetBlue, the official airline of the New England Patriots, has added 10 nonstop flights between New England and San Francisco, including extra service from Boston and a special nonstop flight from Providence, R.I. The Providence route is not typically served by any airline, noted JetBlue.

In total, JetBlue will operate 28 nonstop departures between New England and San Francisco between Feb. 5-9.

“There’s something unmistakable about how New England shows up when the Patriots keep winning,” said Marty St. George, president of JetBlue, in a statement. “As the official airline of the Patriots, we’re proud to keep helping make these moments possible for fans across the region.”

United Airlines has added two nonstop flights — one between Boston and San Jose and one between Boston and San Francisco. Officials also had some fun designating Boston-specific flight numbers for the added routes: the Boston to San Francisco flight is “UA 617,” named after Boston’s area code and the Boston to San Jose flight is “UA 218,” which pays homage to the Gillette Stadium Lighthouse (which is 218 feet tall).

American Airlines has added two special flights from Boston to San Jose. American says it has increased operations by more than 450%, with more than 90 roundtrip flights added to its schedule for the week leading up to and after the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl bound fans can get their tickets at jetblue.com, aa.com, and united.com.
