FOXBOROUGH — If you’ve been to Gillette Stadium, TD Garden, or just about any sports bar in New England over the last few months, odds are that you’ve seen the “I [Heart] Drake Maye” shirts.
The simple design is often the easiest way for fans to draw a standing ovation at a Bruins or Celtics game when featured on the video board, while the shirts are now commonplace in Foxborough these days as a token of appreciation for Drake Maye’s emergence as a MVP frontrunner.
Even Patriots left tackle Will Campbell got in on the trend last month before the Patriots’ home game against the Broncos on Dec. 14.
But it’s not just fans or Maye’s teammates who have been spotted with the signature black t-shirts and hoodies.
Ahead of New England’s eventual 28-16 win over the Houston Texans in the AFC divisional round on Sunday, Maye’s wife — Ann Michael — was spotted on the sideline at Gillette Stadium wearing the “I [Heart] Drake Maye” hoodie.
Maye showed off of her pregame attire on her popular TikTok channel — pairing her hoodie with boots and a faux fur coat from Abercrombie.

Drake Maye and the Patriots eventually took care of business against a stingy Texans defense on a snowing evening at Gillette Stadium.
Despite getting knocked for four fumbles (two lost) to Houston, Maye and the Patriots’ offense still did enough damage against the Texans — with the 23-year-old QB throwing three touchdowns to DeMario Douglas, Stefon Diggs, and Kayshon Boutte in the win.
Maye and the Patriots now advance to the AFC championship game, with a win over the Broncos next Sunday in Denver punching New England’s ticket to Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara next month.
While Drake Maye and the Patriots are the talk of the town amid their impressive turnaround season, Ann Michael Maye has also become a popular figure in the Boston area thanks to her now-viral baking videos on social media.
After her “Bakemas” social-media series took over the internet in the lead-up to Christmas Day, Maye and NBC 10 Boston/NBC Sports Boston have now teamed up for a baking show, titled “Beyond Bakemas with Ann Michael Maye.”
