Ann Michael Maye’s husband, Drake Maye, is the star of the Patriots on the field right now. But Ann Michael is making a name for herself in New England off the field.

The success of “Bakemas,” her social media series in which she baked a different treat for 25 days leading up to Christmas Day, has opened up an exciting opportunity. Maye and NBC 10 Boston/NBC Sports Boston are teaming up for a baking show, titled “Beyond Bakemas with Ann Michael Maye.”

She teased the series in a video from the NBC Sports Boston Instagram account Thursday.

“I’m here in the kitchen at NBC Sports Boston. Just finished filming my baking show, ‘Beyond Bakemas,’” Maye said. “I’m so excited for you guys all to see it, so be sure to stay tuned in.”

A second video from the account Friday offered a more detailed look at “Beyond Bakemas.”

It was revealed that Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy will appear in episode one, which is set to air on Sunday. The video shows clips of Maye guiding Portnoy step-by-step through an unknown recipe.

Portnoy is wearing a shirt with Maye’s smiling face and a plate of cookies that reads, “Merry Bakemas.”

“It takes a lot to get me on a plane to be like, ‘I got to do this,’ Portnoy said. “Like, alright Ann Michael, let’s go bake.”

Maye appeared as a guest on Portnoy’s most recent “One Bite” pizza review at Gianni’s Deli and Pizza in Needham, giving people a look at their on-air rapport.

In addition to the creation of “Beyond Bakemas,” Maye is continuing to post recipe videos on social media. In the new year, she’s opting to share “healthy-ish recipes.” She’s posted recipes for dark chocolate peanut butter date bark and chocolate-dipped oranges thus far.
