The 2005 track “Citizen C.I.A.” has been updated to “Citizen I.C.E.” for a new album available at the band’s St. Patrick’s Day shows.

Dropkick Murphys are protesting the recent fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis by ICE agent Jonathan Ross with an updated version of their song “Citizen C.I.A.”
The 2005 track, a mock CIA recruitment song, has been revamped two decades later as “Citizen I.C.E.” Dropkick Murphys released a preview Jan. 8 on Instagram alongside footage of Good’s killing.
“REST IN PEACE RENEE GOOD,” the band said. “Your family is in our prayers.”
The updated anthem is set to be released on a new split LP titled “New England Forever,” which will feature four tracks by Dropkick Murphys on one side and four tracks by the hardcore band Haywire on the other. The vinyl-only album will be exclusively available at shows on Dropkick Murphys’ St. Patrick’s Day tour later this year, according to an Instagram post.
The band has already played the anti-ICE anthem live at a November 2025 show in Paris. Watch that live performance below:
