Schools across parts of northern Nigeria started reopening on January 12, after months of closure triggered by the abduction of hundreds of students in November 2025. The move follows a circular from the federal government in December 2025 saying that enhanced security measures had created a safer environment for students to return. FRANCE 24’s Clémence Waller reports from the ground.#Nigeria #reopens #schools #north #kidnap #threats1768305263
